Dear friends,
Love is the way of our Lord Jesus Christ and it is the only way for attaining perfection. To live in Jesus let us have genuine love in us and leave the evil which is described as unJesus.
St.Paul says,” And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing “.
Lord Jesus Christ teaches us how our love should be himself being an example. ” But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. If any one strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also. Do to others as you would have them to do to you”.
” If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love your enemies,do good and lend, expecting nothing in return. Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked. Be merciful just as you father is merciful”.

The world’s largest stone dome “The Global Vipassana Pagoda” in Mumbai, India is in its final stage of construction. This wonder in stone stands 325 feet high with a diamtre of 280 feet. The sand stone blocks brought from Jodhpur, Rajastan which were used in the construction, were assembled using interlocking technique. This indigenous architectural marvel without any supporting pillars was designed and supervised by the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and i.i.T. , Chennai. ” We have used only stone and lime water. No cement or steel. We want the structure to last for at least a thousand years”, says Madan Mutta, who supervises the project. The interior of the dome is a large meditation hall, designed to accommodate 8000 people who meditate. A giant golden wheel or Damma Chakra is set in the center from the inside.Two small pagodas outside the main one will also serve as meditation centers. The pagoda which covers an area of 11 acres will be open to the public by the second week of February 2009. The project has been spear headed by the Global Vipassana Foundation as a tribute to the Buddha.The Vipassana stands for non-sectarian, rational process of mental purity.
