The Country that is Going to be Vanished
Global warming became a menace to the Maldives a beautiful island country in the Indian ocean. The CIA has reported that presently the Maldives is at a height of less than one meter from the sea level. At the present pace of the melting of ice in the Arctic and Antarctic due to global warming the Maldives having a population of 3,86,000 is expected to be drowned into the ocean in the near future. In an interview to the magazine Guardian the president of the country Mr.Md.Nasheed said that his future plan is to construct a country for his people in India or Srilanka by acquiring some land there with a fund from the tourism department.
